Rio Hackford dies: Treme, The Mandalorian and The People vs. O.J. Simpson actor was 51

Hackford, the son of Oscar-winning filmmaker Taylor Hackford and stepson of Helen Mirren, died Thursday after a long, unspecified illness, his brother told The Hollywood Reporter. Hackford had recurring roles on Treme, as a Tower Records clerk, and American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson, as an investigator for attorney Robert Shapiro. Hackford also had guest roles on True Detective and, most recently, Pam & Tommy. Additionally, Hackford provided the motion capture work on The Mandalorian assassin droid IG-11, voiced by Taika Waititi.
