Chernobyl star Paul Ritter dies at 54

The British actor played Anatoly Dyatlov, the deputy chief engineer at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, in the 2019 HBO miniseries. He's also best known in the UK for starring in the Channel 4 comedy Friday Night Dinner. "Knocked it out of the PARK in Chernobyl," tweeted Rob Delaney. "Watching it I consciously thought, 'Oh, we have a new movie star.' Between that & how funny he was in Friday Night Dinner... just unreal talent. Rest in peace, Paul Ritter."
