Carrie Preston is returning to The Good Fight

Preston will reprise her fan-favorite role as attorney Elsbeth Tascioni, last seen on Season 2, in a Season 6 episode. She'll also direct an episode, as she did last season. “We couldn’t be more excited to have Carrie Preston back this year,” said The Good Fight creators Robert and Michelle King in a joint statement, “both as director and Elsbeth Tascioni.” The news of Preston's return comes weeks after the announcement Alan Cumming will reprise his Eli Gold character. Preston won an Emmy and was nominated twice for guest-starring as Tascioni on 14 episodes of The Good Wife. She reprised her role on four episodes of The Good Fight.
