CNN+ sets March 29 launch date

“March 29 will be an important day in the history of CNN and CNN+ will be a critical part of our future,” says Andrew Morse, CNN’s chief digital officer, in a statement on the launch of CNN's streaming service. CNN plans to charge $5.99 per month, or $59.99 per year. But people who sign up for the service in the first four weeks after March 29 will be able to get it for half off the monthly plan for as long as they remain subscribers.
