CNN president says there was no imminent threat after a U.S. Army soldier's arrest for allegedly talking about bombing a "major American news network"

The soldier, Jarrett William Smith, was arrested and charged with distribution of information related to explosives, destructive devices and weapons of mass destruction. A criminal complaint alleged that Smith discussed bombing a "major American news network," which was later reported to be CNN. CNN president Jeff Zucker issued a staff memo Monday evening saying: "I want to assure everyone that there was never any imminent threat to any CNN locations. We continue to actively monitor these issues on a daily basis and work closely with our security teams around the world and our partners in law enforcement."
