CBS greenlights CSI revival CSI: Vegas with William Petersen and Jorja Fox

They'll reprise their roles as Dr. Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle in the revival picking up six years after the 2015 series finale of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Wallace Langham, who played lab tech David Hodges in the original CSI, is also reprising his role. Joining them are Matt Lauria, Paula Newsome, Mel Rodriguez and Mandeep Dhillon. Here's the official logline for CSI: Vegas, which CBS views as an ongoing series (instead of a limited series): “Facing an existential threat that could bring down the Crime Lab, a brilliant new team of forensic investigators must welcome back old friends and deploy new techniques to preserve and serve justice in Sin City.” Former Elementary and Burn Notice executive producer Jason Tracey will serve as showrunner.
