Marg Helgenberger may reprise her CSI Catherine Willows role on CSI: Vegas

Helgenberger is in talks to join Season 2 of CBS' CSI revival series, reports TV Line. News of the negotiations comes two weeks after Jorja Fox announced she would not return for Season 2 of CSI: Vegas, joining fellow original CSI star William Petersen in exiting the reboot. (Petersen is still on board as an executive producer.) Catherine Willows' absence was addressed in CSI: Vegas' premiere episode. Helgenberger currently stars on OWN's All Rise, so it's unclear if she can juggle both shows. Helgenberger, who earned two Emmy nominations for playing Catherine Willows, joined CSI with its 2000 pilot and appeared until leaving midway through Season 12 in 2012. She made a final appearance for CSI's 300th episode in 2014.
