Brayden Smith, Jeopardy! five-time champion who competed on Alex Trebek's final episodes, dies at 24

Smith, who appeared on Jeopardy! in December, died on Feb. 5, according to his Las Vegas Review-Journal obituary. No cause of death was given. Smith was hailed on social media as “Alex’s Last Great Champion." "The Jeopardy! family is heartbroken by the tragic loss of Brayden Smith," Jeopardy! said in  statement. "He was kind, funny and absolutely brilliant. Our deepest condolences go out to Brayden’s family. He will be missed.
