Atari’s Pong is set to become a game show

Atari is helping bring its classic video game to TV with Million Dollar Pong, which doesn’t yet have a network home. The table tennis-inspired Pong was one of the first arcade video games, released in 1972. Pong is a cultural touchpoint for generations of people,” says executive producer Scott Sternberg. “It’s not often we get the chance to develop a game show concept around such an iconic brand. I can’t wait to give people the chance to see, experience and play a brand new Pong.”
