Ashley Tisdale joins Carol's Second Act in a recasting as the daughter of Patricia Heaton's character

Tisdale replaces Bonnie Dennison, who co-starred in the CBS pilot. Tisdale will play Jenny, Carol's big-hearted daughter who is also a pharmaceutical rep who covers Carol’s hospital. The character is introduced at the end of the pilot, so there won't be much reshooting. ALSO: CBS' Tommy recasts mayor role, played by David Fierro in the pilot.
