Apple TV+ taps Taron Egerton and Paul Walter Hauser to star in limited series In with the Devil

The six-episode series tells the story of the intimate relationship between two prisoners, exploring the lengths that people will go to in order to seek redemption, if true absolution is ever really possible, and if so, at what costs, according to Variety. In with the Devil is based on the 2010 book In with the Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and A Dangerous Bargain for Redemption, by James Keene and Hillel Levin, based on Keene's life. Egerton would play Keene, who was sentenced to prison but offered his freedom in exchange for coaxing a confession out of a fellow inmate, a suspected serial killer.
