Apple TV+ orders Hurricane Katrina hospital aftermath limited series from John Ridley and Carlton Cuse

The Oscar-winning Ridley and the Emmy-winning Cuse are teaming on Five Days At Memorial, based on Sheri Fink's 2016 book Five Days at Memorial: Life and Death in a Storm-Ravaged Hospital that chronicles the first five days in a New Orleans hospital after Hurricane Katrina made landfall. The limited series will follow as caregivers made life-and-death decisions as power failed and floodwaters rose, resulting in 40 dead bodies at the hospital.
