Adam Conover says Season 3, which premiered Tuesday, delves into loaded American topics like the Constitution and economic mobility, something the show might not have been able to handle in earlier seasons. “We’re always looking to go into topics more deeply, to be able to do topics that are, for lack of a better word, more controversial or more difficult to do," he says. "The sort of double Black Diamond topics."
