"I think I showed the cut of the finale to (A Million Little Things executive producer) Aaron Kaplan and we were debating whether or not we should end with this shot or that shot," says DJ Nash. "And he was like, why don’t you go out on impact and just have it go black? And I was like, oh, that is really interesting. And what he ended up giving us was the opportunity to examine that mystery."
