After the body of an unnamed woman falls from the base of El Capitan, Turner is sent to look into her death. In the forest, Shane shoots Turner when he confronts him, cornering the wounded agent before Naya kills him in a close gunfight. Shane's fate is crucial to solving the murder investigation and Turner's family trauma since his passing reveals connections to his own heartbreak.
