Christopher Meloni's Elliot Stabler returns to the Law & Order franchise this fall in Law & Order: Organized Crime. (NBC)It will be Meredith Grey vs. Olivia Benson this fall as NBC expands its Law & Order franchise to two hours on Thursdays. Though the network is still hoping to start the fall season in September/October, it will see very few changes, with just one new show launch planned: the Stabler-centered Law & Order new entry Organized Crime, led by Christopher Meloni. To make room for it, the network is reducing its comedy slots by one hour and sliding SVU to 9 on Thursdays, facing Grey's Anatomy. Manifest will be back in the fall, while both Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist and Ted Danson's new starring vehicle Mr. Mayor are held for midseason, alongside Young Rock and the long-delayed Kenan.
