Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford are set to headline Paramount's upcoming Yellowstone prequel series 1932. Set in the midst of the Great Depression, 1932 follows another generation of the Dutton family as they navigate life out west. Details on Mirren and Ford's roles have not yet been revealed, but the drama is set to debut on Paramount+ in December.

Other series in the Yellowstone universe include 1883, another prequel starring Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill, and 6666, a spinoff still in development.

Yellowstone centers on a family of ranchers led by John Dutton (Kevin Costner), who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United Sates. Dutton finds himself in conflict with the growing town, an Indian reservation, and America's first national park, as they all threaten to encroach upon the ranch's borders.
