Zoë Kravitz to star in High Fidelity TV series for Disney's streaming service

The Big Little Lies star will take on the John Cusack role in the gender-reversed reboot of the 2000 film based on the Nick Hornby novel. Kravitz's mom, Lisa Bonet, played Cusack's ex-girlfriend Marie DeSalle in the movie. The 10-episode High Fidelity TV series, created by Veronica West and Sarah Kucserka, is a reimagining of the 2000 film, told from a female point of view. Kravitz, who will also serve as executive producer, will play the "ultimate music fan and record store owner who is obsessed with pop culture and top five lists."
