Yamiche Alcindor named the new moderator of PBS' Washington Week

Alcindor, known for covering the Trump White House for PBS NewsHour, will take over as host of the weekly public affairs program from Robert Costa, who succeeded the late pioneering journalist Gwen Ifill in 2017. In fact, Ifill was a mentor for Alcindror. “I basically instantly cried,” Alcindor said of learning the news of her hosting, “thinking about Gwen.”
