Wisconsin's new Democratic leaders could be good news for Making a Murderer's Steve Avery and Brendan Dassey

Governor Scott Walker and Attorney General Brad Schimel, both Republicans who were ousted in Tuesday's midterms, have been described as “the top two elected officials most determined to keep Avery and Dassey convicted." They will be replaced by Democrat governor and a Democrat attorney general. As a result, both Avery and Dassey are said to have a better chance for clemency.
