Siempre, Luis looks at the life of Luis A. Miranda Jr., who left Puerto Rico for New York at age 18. The elder Miranda went from working at Sears to running the U.S. Senate campaigns of Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer. Lin-Manuel Miranda based his Hamilton performance on his dad, who managed the logistics of the Broadway production. Siempre, Luis premieres Oct. 6.
