Wanda Sykes quits Roseanne after Roseanne Barr's racist tweet

Sykes, a consulting producer on the ABC revival, tweeted "I will not be returning to @RoseanneOnABC" hours after Roseanne Barr apologized for a tweet in which she called former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett a child of Muslim Brotherhood and the movie Planet of the Apes. Barr later apologized, calling the tweet a "bad joke" and vowing to leave Twitter. Barr's tweet prompted some viewers to demand ABC take action. Meanwhile, celebrities like Tom Arnold and Rosie O'Donnell slammed the tweet. Sykes is the second high-profile writer/producer to exit the Roseanne revival following Whitney Cummings' exit 10 days ago.
