Vincent D'Onofrio asks Twitter whether he should play an "irredeemable racist" on a TV series

The actor received encouraging responses from everybody from Ron Perlman to Donal Logue to Don Cheadle in response to his Sunday tweet. "I am going to ask a question to everyone that cares to answer it," he tweeted. "I have an opinion which I will not reveal. Is Now the right time (considering the world in which live right now) for me to play a real to life character who is irredeemable racist in a dramatic series?"
