Speaking of Last Man Standing’s demise, Allen said on Norm Macdonald Live that he is still baffled by ABC’s decision to end his sitcom while it still had good ratings, especially since he says it could’ve been used to help boost the upcoming Roseanne reboot. "I have no idea why they did what they did," Allen told Macdonald on his podcast. "You couldn't have handled this worse." He added: “They put us out to pasture on Friday and we won Friday. Big night for us. Big night for them. I would have put Roseanne after us. Use us just to launch shows, if nothing else."
