Thomas Lennon says Quibi is the ideal place for a Reno 911! reboot: "We are the Lay's potato chips of programming"

"Just have a couple and then yeah, you'll feel a little sick," Lennon jokes to Newsweek of Reno 911!'s premiere Monday on the shortform streaming service. "We're a sketch show," says fellow co-creator and co-star Robert Ben Garant. "It was a perfect place for us when they pitched us 'short things.'" Lennon says the Quibi episodes are better because of their short length. "They never overstay their welcome," he says. "They're just like, get in, hit hard and get out!" In an interview with TV Insider, Lennon says the Quibi episodes are "probably the best ones we’ve ever done" because they're the "leanest, meanest version of the show with zero filler."
