Thomas Jane to star in Australia-set crime drama Troppo

The Expanse's Jane will star in and executive produce an Australian-set crime drama based on New York Times bestselling author Candice Fox’s Crimson Lake novels. Writer Yolanda Ramke will pen Troppo, which has Jane playing an "ex-cop falsely accused of a disturbing crime who escapes to the tropics of Far North Queensland where he becomes entangled in a newly-formed private investigations agency," per Deadline. "The series is slated to go into production later this year in Australia." Troppo will be shopped to networks and streaming services.
