This Is Us renewed for three more seasons -- will it end with Season 6?

NBC won't say that the pickup for Seasons 4, 5 and 6 will be the last renewals for the hit drama series. "We’re keeping it open for now," NBC Entertainment president Paul Telegdy said in an upfronts conference call. But the rare three-season pickup means the "time-twisting family drama will likely wrap its run in 2022 with its sixth and potentially final season," according to The Hollywood Reporter's Lesley Goldberg, who adds: "The network, in a deal with Disney-owned 20th Century Fox Television, has renewed This Is Us for three additional seasons. The pickup takes the Dan Fogelman-created drama through its sixth — and, sources say, what is likely to be its final — season. Insiders stress that Fogelman sees the series ending with season six, while NBC remains optimistic that its mega-hit could live on beyond that." This marks the second multi-season renewal for This Is Us, which was renewed for Season 2 and 3 during its freshman season.
