The Walking Dead alum David Morrissey stopped watching the show when Negan emerged

  • "I watched up to the emergence of Negan," he tells Digital Spy. "Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a mate of mine and before he went onto the show, he and I talked about it. So I was keen to see his interpretation of that character, which was wonderful. But I then stopped watching it. Not because I didn't like it. There was an element in it that I was sort of, well, I thought: 'I’m not in this show anymore so it’s hard to keep watching, and I’ve got other things to get on with.' But mostly the fact that it was difficult for me to commit to watching it in the way that fans do."
