The Mandalorian casts Star Wars veteran Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett

Morrison, who played bounty hunter Boba Fett's father Jango Fett in 2002's Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, is joining the Disney+ series. He'll play Boba Fett, the famed bounty hunter played in the original Star Wars trilogy who was played by Jeremy Bulloch. Boba Fett first appeared in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and seemingly died in Return of the Jedi. Boba Fett is expected to be a small part of Season 2, according to The Hollywood Reporter, noting that the character was teased in the Season 1 episode "The Gunslinger." This isn't the first time Morrison has played Boba Fett. He's voiced the role previously in several Star Wars video games.
