Teen superspy book series Alex Rider is getting a TV adaptation

Sony Pictures Television and producer Eleventh Hour Films already have a teaser trailer for author Anthony Horowitz's Alex Rider series that will be shopped to networks and streaming services as part of a new funding model. Horowitz is rebooting his book series for TV with his wife Jill Green. Alex Rider, which was originally released as a book series in 2000 and made into a movie in 2006, stars Mrs Wilson’s Otto Farrant in the title role. Other stars include Game of Thrones alums Brenock O’Connor and Stephen Dillane.
