SundanceTV cancels Hap and Leonard after three seasons

The Michael K. Williams and James Purefoy 1980s-set buddy drama's cancelation was announced by author Joe R. Lansdale, who had earlier urged fans to try to get the series based on his book renewed. "Hap and Leonard officially canceled," he wrote on Twitter. "Sundance's highest rated show, 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Three Seasons wraps it up, dudes."
