Stephen Colbert calls allegations against former boss Louis CK “disturbing”

Louis CK was head writer on The Dana Carvey Show in 1996 when Colbert worked on the comedy as an actor. So The Late Show host’s reaction was from a place of history, especially since Louis CK had to cancel Thursday's visit. “For those of you tuning in to see my interview with Louis CK tonight, I have some bad news,” Colbert said jokingly. “Then I have some really bad news. Louis cancelled his appearance here tonight because The New York Times broke this story today: Five women are accusing Louis CK of sexual misconduct.” Referring to an earlier joke, Colbert said, “When reached for comment, Jesus said, ‘La-la-la-la-la. I don’t want to hear about it, I was a big fan!’”
