South Park streaming rights land on HBO Max in a deal worth more than $500 million

The streaming rights to South Park will go from Hulu to HBO Max starting in June 2020. The five-year deal covers South Park's 23 seasons plus the three seasons that Comedy Central have ordered. Variety says the deal is valued at between $500 million and $500 million. New South Park episodes will appear on HBO Max 24 hours after their original airing on Comedy Central.
