Sony names a building after Norman Lear

The 96-year-old TV icon was on hand for Tuesday's unveiling of The Norman Lear Building on the Sony studios lot in Culver City.  “Norman and the shows he created defined what great television can be,” said Sony Pictures Entertainment chairman and CEO Tony Vinciquerra. “He sits comfortably in the Pantheon of great television legends, and we are honored to have him in the Sony family.”
