Soleil Moon Frye says getting back into character as Punky Brewster has been "happening really naturally"

For her HBO Max pilot, Frye recently tried on outfit that her children's character would've loved. "It was never something that five years ago I would have worn," she explained, "but that inner-Punky believes in herself and believes in her strength and is so confident in who she is."
