Showtime developing Michael Chabon's Pulitzer-winning novel The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay as a miniseries

Chabon, Star Trek: Picard's showrunner and an executive producer on Netflix's Unbelievable, and his author wife Ayelet Waldman are producing an adaptation of his novel that won the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for fiction. The book is an epic tale of love, war and the birth of America's comic book superhero obsession in big band-era New York. They'll both adapt the book for the screen, with Chabon serving as showrunner on Kavalier and Clay while staying on as Picard's showrunner. Star Trek franchise boss Alex Kurtzman will also serve as showrunner. Kavalier and Clay is part of Chabon and Waldman's overall deal with CBS Television Studios.
