Seth Meyers is set to host the Golden Globes

The Late Night host is closing in on a deal to host the Golden Globes in January, succeeding fellow NBC late-night star Jimmy Fallon. According to Variety, Meyers was approached early on, but did not commit until the past few days. The Globes are said to have also approached Ellen DeGeneres, Tiffany Haddish and even Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. ALSO: NBC schedules a Golden Globes 75th Anniversary Special for Dec. 13.
