“We got hit by this (pandemic delay) just like everyone else, but we are working on it," MacFarlane tells co-star Jessica Szohr on her Instagram account. Long before the pandemic hit, MacFarlane said last year that Season 3, the first to air on Hulu, was expected to premiere in 2020.
