Seth MacFarlane developing a new The Winds of War limited series

MacFarland and UCP are working on a new adaptation of Herman Wouk’s second novel about World War II. The Winds of War originally aired as an ABC miniseries in 1983. MacFarlane is expected to write and executive produce the project, described "as telling the epic story of one American family’s turbulent voyage across the continents and across the years that spanned the Second World War."
