Saved by the Bell creator Sam Bobrick dies at 87

Bobrick created Disney Channel's Good Morning, Miss Bliss, which NBC resurrected and renamed Saved by the Bell after it was canceled. Bobrick also wrote 19 episodes of The Andy Griffith Show and worked on numerous TV comedies, including The Flintstones, Gomer Pyle: USMC, Get Smart and Bewitched. In 1968, he earned an Emmy nomination for writing on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour.
