SNL's Michael Che under fire for the way he responds to female critics

Jezebel notes many instances where the Saturday Night Live "Weekend Update" co-host takes retaliatory offense when a woman criticizes his work by highlighting the criticism on social media, most recently when he was lumped in with other comedians who have used transphobic jokes in an article last week. "Despite the fact that Che is a successful comedian with a position as co-head writer on Saturday Night Live," writes Jezebel's Hazel Cills, "he has repeatedly and publicly denigrated women, some up-and-coming writers, over the past few years in ways that read as incongruous for someone of his level of fame and status in the New York City comedy community." Neither Che nor his reps responded to Jezebel's request for comment.
