Roswell is getting a CW reboot with "an immigrant twist"

  • The 1999-2002 WB teen drama that featured Katherine Heigl, Colin Hanks and Shiri Appleby in early roles is getting a "timely reboot," according to The Hollywood Reporter. The new Roswell, to be penned by The Originals producer Carina MacKenzie, has the following logline: "After reluctantly returning to her tourist-trap hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, the daughter of undocumented immigrants discovers a shocking truth about her teenage crush who is now a police officer: he’s an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life..."
