Riverdale is staging a Carrie-themed musical episode

The cast and crew of The CW series will sing 11 songs when Riverdale High’s drama department stages a production of Carrie: The Musical,  series’ first-ever musical episode. The CW announced in a press release that Kevin Keller, referred to as “future Tony winner,” will direct the production of the Stephen King horror classic, with redhead Cheryl Blossom playing the title role of Carrie. The Carrie: The Musical episode airs on April 18.
