Rick and Morty fans created long lines for Szechuan sauce — and McDonald’s wasn’t ready to meet the demand

Many McDonald’s locations that had announced the Szechuan sauce promotion didn’t have any, or ran out early. “Very disappointed with @McDonalds and Szechuan sauce disaster,” one Rick and Morty fan tweeted. Another fan complained: “I’m sauceless!” Others who weren’t aware of the promotion were baffled by the long lines. In Florida, police had to be called out to calm upset Rick and Morty fans.
