Richard Herd, Seinfeld's Mr. Wilhelm, dies at 87

Herd appeared in 11 episodes of Seinfeld as the clueless New York Yankees executive who was George Costanza's boss. Herd had previously said he was surprised he got the job because he admitted to being a Boston Red Sox fan during his audition. Herd also appeared on T.J. Hooker as Captain Sheridan, the boss of William Shatner's Sgt. T.J. Hooker.
