Report: Mark Halperin issued "vague threats" when MSNBC boss refused to allow him to collaborate with Morning Joe stars

"When Halperin’s pals Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski sought to collaborate with him on an online-only MSNBC broadcast analyzing the 2018 midterm elections, network brass shut down the entire plan," reports The Daily Beast's Maxwell Tani. That led to Halperin's hostile call with MSNBC president Phil Griffin. Halperin, whose sexual harassment past has made him persona non grata on cable news, has since made headlines with his plans for a book on the 2020 presidential election.
