Report: Charlie Rose got “potential heir” Josh Elliott fired from CBS This Morning

Elliott, who previously worked on Good Morning America, was fired in February from CBS News after announcing on-air that he was stepping down from CBS’ digital channel. But Page Six reports that it was actually Rose, recovering from heart surgery at the time, who saw Elliott as a threat and was responsible for his ouster.
