Report: ABC mulling a spinoff of Roseanne spinoff revolving around Sara Gilbert's Darlene Conner

"The powers that be at ABC are exploring the possibility of re-branding the show and focusing on the character Darlene instead of Roseanne," according to TMZ, in a report confirmed by TV Line. "We're told Sara's been calling cast members to gauge their interest in the event ABC gives the reboot the green light. We're told John Goodman is 'very interested," says TMZ. Many Roseanne reviews said that the revival really revolved around Darlene, and not Roseanne Conner. Darlene was even considered by some to be the best reason to watch Roseanne.
