That's the explanation, a source tells The Wrap, for Zegler's lack of an invite to this year's Oscars to support West Side Story. Zegler, who is currently in London filming Snow White, was able to attend the BAFTAs and the London component of the Critics Choice Awards last week. But a trip to Los Angeles and back would be too risky, even though the BAFTAs is now being seen as a super-spreader event. Another reason, per The Wrap, is that there will be fewer audience members due to the pandemic. And West Side Story won't be the only Best Picture-nominated Oscar film without their entire cast in attendance.
