Rachel Maddow says "I'm going to be totally fine" after surgery to remove skin cancer

Maddow returned to MSNBC on Wednesday after being absent since last Thursday. Maddow revealed she underwent skin surgery last Friday. Maddow took time off after her partner, Susan Mikula, noticed the mole on her neck had changed "a couple months ago." A dermatologist later confirmed she had skin cancer following a biopsy. "All this to say, I would like to introduce you to my band-aid," Maddow said, adding: "I had a few days off because I had surgery at NYU Langone on Friday. They're fantastic. They got it, they got all of it. I'm good. I have clear margins, the whole thing."
